Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly criticized AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami for lacking the moral courage to speak even ten critical words against the Bharatiya Janata Party. Stalin remarked that the AIADMK's claimed break with the BJP is an orchestrated theatrical production whose script is prepared directly by the Union ruling party. He noted that conscious voters across Tamil Nadu are not deceived by such superficial posturing.

Stalin recalled that during four years as Chief Minister, Palaniswami surrendered crucial state autonomy by endorsing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, supporting the three controversial farm laws, and facilitating the Citizenship Amendment Act. He emphasized that the AIADMK administration consistently compromised state interests to preserve its tenure, maintaining total subservience to central directives. Stalin stated that Palaniswami's sudden appearance of opposition to New Delhi represents an unconvincing political maneuver aimed at dividing anti-BJP votes.

The Chief Minister warned that electing AIADMK candidates would merely empower the BJP through backdoor arrangements. Stalin appealed to electors to vote decisively for the INDIA bloc to defeat both partners simultaneously and protect regional self-respect.
