DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed a massive election campaign rally in Tenkasi, streaming the proceedings live to thousands of supporters across southern districts. The rally brought together alliance partners, agricultural workers, handloom weavers, spice farmers, and women self-help group members. Stalin noted that Tenkasi, framed by the Western Ghats and famous for the Courtallam waterfalls, requires progressive governance that balances environmental conservation with agricultural productivity and industrial development.

Stalin criticized the Union government for stalling railway line gauge conversion and withholding promised infrastructure funds for southern Tamil Nadu.

The Chief Minister urged the electorate to elect INDIA alliance nominees with overwhelming majorities. Stalin declared that victory in the parliamentary elections is vital to preserve constitutional democracy and ensure fair central resource allocation.
