Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin took a sharp satirical swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign guarantees, comparing them to home appliance advertisements. Stalin remarked that commercial products like kitchen mixers come with dependable warranties that last for many years, whereas Modi's political guarantees disappear into thin air as soon as voting concludes. The video accompanying his statement highlighted past central promises that remained unfulfilled across two successive terms of Union governance.
Stalin recalled that major central commitments, including crediting fifteen lakh rupees into citizen accounts, generating two crore jobs annually, and doubling agricultural incomes, remained unaddressed. In contrast, he noted that his Dravidian Model administration fulfilled electoral pledges through concrete programs like the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai monthly assistance, free public bus travel for women, and the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme. These targeted welfare deliveries provided genuine financial stability to millions of families across Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister urged voters to distinguish between promotional advertising and dependable public service. Stalin called upon the electorate to vote for the INDIA bloc to secure an accountable government that delivers on its promises.
