DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin shared a campaign video addressing the severe economic burdens imposed on working families by rampant inflation and escalating fuel prices under the Union BJP government. The video documented conversations between the Chief Minister and local citizens, traders, and small business owners struggling with high operating costs. Stalin noted that ordinary households have faced severe distress due to relentless hikes in cooking gas, diesel, and essential food items.

Stalin explained that while the Union government prioritized tax concessions for corporate conglomerates, it imposed burdensome GST rates on everyday basic commodities, crippling small retailers and rural markets. In contrast, his state administration provided substantial financial relief through monthly basic income transfers to women heads of families and subsidized public amenities. He emphasized that the Dravidian Model prioritizes bottom-up economic empowerment, ensuring that public resources directly support household resilience during economic downturns.

The Chief Minister urged voters to reject corporate-driven economic policies and vote for INDIA alliance candidates. Stalin declared that a progressive Union administration will rein in fuel prices, reform the regressive GST structure, and rebuild the national economy on equitable foundations.
