DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin ridiculed AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami's election campaign speeches, remarking that the public laughs at his political pretenses. Stalin shared a video compilation illustrating how Palaniswami attempts to portray himself as an independent opposition leader while systematically avoiding any direct criticism of the Union BJP administration. The DMK leader emphasized that people across Tamil Nadu clearly recognize the artificial nature of the AIADMK's claimed rupture with its central partner.
Stalin recalled that during his four years as Chief Minister, Palaniswami surrendered crucial state rights to New Delhi, including endorsing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, supporting the three controversial farm laws, and facilitating the Citizenship Amendment Act. Stalin pointed out that the AIADMK regime never raised its voice against central financial discrimination or withholding of state revenue dues. He asserted that Palaniswami's sudden expressions of state concern represent superficial theatre designed to confuse anti-incumbency voters.
The Chief Minister maintained that informed voters understand the underground coordination between the AIADMK and the BJP. Stalin urged citizens to vote decisively for the INDIA bloc to defeat both partners simultaneously.
