Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a massive joint parliamentary campaign rally in northern Tamil Nadu covering Vellore and Arakkonam constituencies, streamed live to an extensive audience. Speaking before an immense gathering of industrial workers, leather factory employees, farmers, women, and party workers, Stalin delivered a powerful appeal for an absolute victory for INDIA alliance nominees Kathir Anand and S. Jagathrakshakan.
In his keynote address, Stalin highlighted the landmark achievements accomplished across Vellore and Ranipet districts under the Dravidian Model governance. He underscored extensive industrial investments, modern effluent treatment initiatives for leather clusters, educational scholarships, and flagship welfare schemes, including the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai monthly assistance and free bus travel for women. Stalin contrasted this compassionate state governance with the central government's continuous refusal to allocate fair disaster relief funds and statutory financial shares to Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister warned that re-electing the BJP would jeopardize federal rights, secular harmony, and democratic liberties across India. Stalin urged the voters of Vellore and Arakkonam to deliver a historic mandate for the INDIA bloc on April 19, ensuring progressive governance that respects regional autonomy.
