Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a sharp offensive against the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership, asserting that sheer fear of imminent electoral defeat has driven central ministers to create desperate controversies over the Katchatheevu island issue. Stalin remarked that the BJP's conspiracy has completely backfired, trapping its leaders in their own rhetorical web as public scrutiny and judicial reprimands from the Supreme Court expose their shifting arguments.

The Chief Minister also called out AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami for his deceitful posturing on the matter. Stalin pointed out the glaring contradiction in Palaniswami claiming while in opposition that the ruling party must confront the Centre, whereas during his own tenure as Chief Minister, he remained entirely silent under the pretext of alliance dharma. Stalin stated that Palaniswami's subservience to the BJP while in power resulted in severe compromises of Tamil Nadu's territorial and fishing rights.

Stalin declared that the time has arrived for the people to write the final chapter for both the dominating BJP and its submissive ally, the AIADMK. He urged electors to vote overwhelmingly for the INDIA alliance to defend Tamil Nadu's dignity, fishermen's safety, and constitutional rights.
