#Vote4INDIA

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a searing critique against the Union BJP government, characterizing its fiscal policies as digital extortion targeting the poor. Stalin recalled the central government's unfulfilled promise of depositing fifteen lakh rupees into every citizen's bank account, contrasting that initial rhetoric with punitive measures like demonetization that harassed working-class families and small businesses forced to wait in endless banking queues.
The Chief Minister revealed that public sector banks have extracted over twenty-one thousand crore rupees from poor depositors purely as penalties for failing to maintain mandatory minimum account balances. Stalin contrasted this relentless penalization of economically vulnerable citizens with the central administration's generous treatment of large corporate entities, which received lakhs of crores in loan write-offs and substantial corporate tax cuts reduced from thirty to twenty-two percent.
Stalin questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's repeated assertions of leading a pro-poor administration, asserting that the record demonstrates absolute bias in favor of billionaires. He called upon voters to reject this predatory economic model on April 19 by supporting the INDIA alliance, promising people-centric fiscal policies that protect working families from exploitative institutional burdens.
