DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued a fiery critique against the Bharatiya Janata Party, condemning its destructive agenda to impose uniform food, language, and religious practices across India's diverse population. Stalin warned that attempting to enforce monolithic uniformity erodes the very foundation of the Indian republic, presenting a severe danger to household harmony and national unity alike.
The Chief Minister affirmed that no matter how many times Prime Minister Narendra Modi tours Tamil Nadu for electoral campaigns, the state will remain an impregnable steel fortress of Dravidian ideology that cannot be conquered. Characterizing the 2024 parliamentary election as India's second war of independence, Stalin declared that the electorate will decisively banish both the autocratic BJP and its subservient regional partner, the AIADMK, which consistently compromised state interests for narrow political gains.
Stalin called upon the electorate to vote resoundingly for the INDIA alliance to ensure that the dawn of progressive southern governance reaches New Delhi. He emphasized that defending state autonomy, linguistic rights, and secular federalism is indispensable to securing a democratic, pluralistic future for all citizens.
