Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin shared further campaign video excerpts from his public rallies in Chidambaram and Mayiladuthurai, demonstrating widespread grassroots support for the INDIA alliance. The video featured massive processions, vibrant cultural welcomes, and engaged interactions between Stalin and local citizens, farmers, and youth. Stalin asserted that public enthusiasm across the delta region reflects widespread trust in the DMK administration’s welfare track record.
Stalin addressed critical local concerns, including water management, delta ecology, and industrial diversification. He explained that his administration has consistently opposed environmentally destructive central projects in the protected agricultural zone, ensuring that fertile delta lands remain preserved for farming communities. The Chief Minister pointed out that the AIADMK, during its past tenure, compromised regional ecological interests by facilitating central approvals, proving its inability to stand up to New Delhi.
Stalin called on voters across both constituencies to vote decisively for INDIA alliance candidates on April 19. He emphasized that establishing a secular, federalist government at the Centre is essential to secure agricultural water rights, expand rural infrastructure, protect state welfare autonomy, and safeguard democratic institutions from persistent central overreach.
