Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed a massive public gathering in Coimbatore, declaring that the extraordinary turnout signalled decisive political change approaching New Delhi. Stalin questioned how a party associated with communal conflict like the Bharatiya Janata Party could seek a foothold in peace-loving Coimbatore, warning that divisive politics would inevitably jeopardize industrial stability and corporate confidence.
Stalin raised serious concerns over the Union government's hostility toward Tamil Nadu's industrial ecosystem, highlighting that a major industrial manufacturing project planned for Coimbatore was deliberately pressured and shifted to Gujarat. He asked why the central leadership harbored such persistent animosity toward western Tamil Nadu's hardworking manufacturing communities while publicly professing superficial admiration for the Tamil language and heritage.
Contrasting this record with alliance commitments, Stalin stated that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi framed the party's manifesto in close consultation with the people, aligning with the Dravidian movement's core principles of equity and state autonomy. Stalin urged industrialists, entrepreneurs, and working families to vote decisively for the INDIA bloc to protect Coimbatore's commercial vibrancy and secure comprehensive economic revival across the entire western region.
