Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin strongly condemned a violent stone-throwing incident targeting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during an election campaign rally in Vijayawada. Expressing deep concern over the physical assault that left the Andhra Pradesh leader injured, Stalin wished him a swift and complete recovery.

Stalin emphasized that democratic politics must always be grounded in ideological dialogue, mutual respect, and peaceful electoral competition. He asserted that political disagreements and sharp policy contestations must never be allowed to escalate into physical intimidation or violent confrontations. The Chief Minister pointed out that resorting to physical violence damages democratic institutions and undermines the safety of political leaders and common citizens engaging in public campaigns.
