DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted campaign rallies across Tiruvallur and North Chennai parliamentary constituencies on the final day of campaigning for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Addressing massive gatherings comprising industrial workers, youth, and women, Stalin appealed for decisive public support for INDIA bloc candidates Sasikanth Senthil in Tiruvallur and Kalanidhi Veerasamy in North Chennai.
The Chief Minister highlighted extensive infrastructural developments undertaken in northern Chennai and adjoining suburban districts, including new road corridors, environmental restoration of water bodies, upgraded government hospitals, and expanded public transit systems. Stalin emphasized that elected alliance parliamentarians have vigorously championed working-class issues, defending labor rights, industrial safety, and statutory job reservations against regressive central economic policies.
Stalin urged the electorate to reject parties aligned with the BJP, emphasizing that this election offers a historic opportunity to restore cooperative federalism and economic justice. Calling upon the working-class bastion of Tiruvallur and North Chennai to demonstrate their traditional political solidarity, Stalin expressed confidence that their overwhelming votes would propel the INDIA alliance toward a resounding victory on April 19 for our state.
