DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin concluded his whirlwind parliamentary election campaign across the state with a massive public gathering covering Central Chennai and South Chennai parliamentary constituencies. Addressing tens of thousands of party cadres, alliance partners, and local residents, Stalin appealed for an overwhelming mandate for INDIA bloc candidates Dayanidhi Maran and Thamizhachi Thangapandian to represent the historic capital in the Lok Sabha.

Stalin highlighted the transformative developmental milestones achieved across Chennai under the Dravidian Model government, including flood mitigation infrastructure, modernized public schools, pedestrian plazas, and improved municipal services. He emphasized that elected alliance parliamentarians have consistently voiced the rights and aspirations of urban residents in New Delhi, fiercely opposing arbitrary central policies, discriminatory fund cuts, and unilateral tax impositions that harm state progress.

The Chief Minister cautioned citizens against political parties that act as overt or covert proxies for the Bharatiya Janata Party, urging voters to remain steadfast in defending secular values and federal rights. Stalin called upon the electorate of Central and South Chennai to lead the state's democratic march by delivering resounding victories for alliance candidates on April 19.
