DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a call to party cadres on the eve of the April 19 parliamentary polling day, stating that months of dedicated grassroots campaigning would culminate in a decisive democratic victory for the INDIA alliance. Writing in his regular epistle to party brethren, Stalin instructed district secretaries, constituency functionaries, and booth-level agents to follow statutory protocols compiled in the election handbook prepared by the DMK Legal Wing.
Stalin emphasized that safeguarding the integrity of the polling process requires intense vigilance, disciplined coordination, and meticulous adherence to electoral rules. Booth agents were instructed to arrive punctually, scrutinize mock polls, verify electronic voting machine seals, and monitor voter identification procedures closely to prevent unauthorized interference or malpractice.
The Chief Minister underscored that every single vote cast in the election holds immense significance for defending constitutional democracy, secularism, and state rights. Stalin urged cadres from district leadership down to local branch workers to perform their responsibilities with calm determination, ensuring voters can exercise their franchise freely and peacefully to deliver a historic democratic triumph for Tamil Nadu and the nation.
