Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed profound sorrow over the tragic demise of Armed Reserve constable Vigneshkumar, a native of Seelapadi in Dindigul district who lost his life in a road accident. Stalin conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, colleagues, friends, and the entire state police department, expressing solidarity with the grieving household during their time of immense grief and unexpected loss.
The Chief Minister announced that financial assistance from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund would be provided to the deceased constable's family immediately upon obtaining mandatory model code of conduct approval from the Election Commission of India. Stalin instructed district revenue officials and senior police commanders to expedite the administrative paperwork required for statutory relief sanctions, ensuring immediate support for the dependents.
Stalin reiterated that the state government deeply values the service, dedication, and sacrifices made by police personnel who perform demanding duties to maintain public safety, law and order, and peaceful coexistence statewide. He affirmed that the administration remains committed to extending institutional welfare assistance and compassionate administrative support to police families whenever tragic incidents occur in the line of service.
