DMK president M.K. Stalin issued vital procedural instructions to party counting agents, legal teams, and district secretaries ahead of the nationwide vote counting scheduled for June 4. Accompanied by official guidance prepared by party organizational secretary R.S. Bharathi and legal wing head N.R. Elango, the directive outlined critical safeguards required to protect democratic mandates across all counting centers in Tamil Nadu.
Stalin urged counting agents to remain exceptionally vigilant throughout every stage of the counting process, from the verification of postal ballots to electronic voting machine seal inspections and round-by-round tally reconciliations. The party leadership instructed representatives to strictly monitor Form 17C entries, ensure immediate documentation of any mechanical discrepancies, and refrain from leaving counting tables until final official certification is received.
The Chief Minister stressed that democratic elections require rigorous grassroots supervision to prevent administrative irregularities or partisan interference. By equipping party counting agents with thorough legal knowledge and statutory guidelines, the DMK aimed to ensure an orderly, transparent counting exercise, securing every vote cast by the public for the INDIA alliance across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry without compromise.
