Met Thiru @ncbn garu, a longtime friend of Thalaivar Kalaignar, at Delhi Airport. I conveyed my best wishes to him and expressed hope that we will collaborate to strengthen the ties between the brotherly states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. I am confident that he will play a crucial role in the Union Government, advocating for the southern states and protecting our rights.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin met with incoming Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party President N. Chandrababu Naidu at Delhi Airport, conveying his warmest personal felicitations on Naidu's decisive assembly victory. Stalin recalled Naidu's long and affectionate relationship with former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, underscoring the enduring friendship between the two southern leaders who collaborated over decades to protect regional interests and uphold federal principles in national governance.
During their brief interaction, Stalin expressed optimism that Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh would collaborate constructively across diverse administrative, economic, and water-sharing spheres to benefit the people of both brotherly states. Recognizing the Telugu Desam Party's pivotal position as a kingmaker in the Union coalition government, Stalin expressed confidence that Naidu will play an instrumental role in championing the welfare of southern states and safeguarding provincial rights against central encroachment.
Stalin highlighted that solidarity among southern state leadership is indispensable for securing fair tax devolution, defending language equality, and resisting unilateral delimitation exercises. He affirmed that Tamil Nadu remains committed to partnering with neighboring states to strengthen regional federalism and protect constitutional governance nationwide.
