வேளாண்மைப் பொறியியல் துறை சார்பில் குறைந்த வாடகையில் விவசாயிகளின் பயன்பாட்டிற்காக டிராக்டர்கள், கொத்துக் கலப்பைகள் மற்றும் ரோட்டவேட்டர்களை வழங்கிடும் வகையிலும், கிராமப்புற இளைஞர்களுக்கு டிராக்டர் இயக்குவதற்குப் பயிற்சி அளித்திடும் வகையிலும் டிராக்டர்களைக் கொடியசைத்து தொடங்கி வைத்தேன்.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin launched the Chief Minister's Mannuyir Kaathu Mannuyir Kaappom Scheme, allocating twenty crore rupees to distribute four thousand metric tons of green manure seeds across two lakh acres of farmland statewide. Tagging Agriculture Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam, Stalin explained that promoting green manure crops restores natural soil microbiome health, enhances moisture retention, and reduces reliance on expensive chemical inputs, creating an ecologically balanced foundation for sustainable agriculture.
Alongside soil restoration initiatives, the Chief Minister flagged off a fleet of modern agricultural machinery under the Agricultural Engineering Department, providing tractors, disc harrows, and rotavators at highly subsidized rental rates for small and marginal farmers. Stalin also launched a dedicated technical training program for rural youth, equipping them with professional tractor and farm machinery operation skills to generate productive employment opportunities within village communities.
Stalin affirmed that protecting soil life is synonymous with sustaining human life, declaring that the motto must be pursued as a popular movement across rural Tamil Nadu. He reiterated that the Dravidian Model governance will continually implement scientific, farmer-centric schemes that lower production costs, boost crop yields, and ensure prosperous rural livelihoods.
