DMK President M.K. Stalin extended a heartfelt invitation to party cadres and district workers to participate in the Mupperum Vizha celebrations scheduled in Coimbatore. Stalin described the event as a threefold celebration designed to mark the culmination of the centenary of M. Karunanidhi, extend collective thanksgiving to Tamil Nadu voters for delivering a clean sweep in the 2024 parliamentary elections, and confer formal recognition upon booth-level cadres whose relentless field labor made the triumph possible.
The DMK leader observed that the western districts delivered an overwhelming vote of confidence to the progressive secular front, silencing critics who claimed the region was an impregnable bastion of conservative and opposition parties. Stalin noted that this mandate was earned through genuine grassroots governance, inclusive welfare policies, and an unbroken bond of trust between the Dravidian Model administration and ordinary citizens.
Stalin called upon every party member to attend the Coimbatore convention, describing such gatherings as valuable ideological schools that reinforce organizational solidarity. He urged workers to treat the celebration as the starting gun for the 2026 legislative campaign to ensure ongoing social justice governance.
