DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed party cadres and supporters at the Coimbatore Mupperum Vizha, celebrating the DMK-led alliance's historic clean sweep of all forty parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Stalin asserted that the resounding electoral verdict completely shattered opposition claims of making political inroads into the state, proving decisively that Tamil Nadu remains an unconquerable fortress of Dravidian ideology, rationalism, and social justice.
Responding to political critics questioning what forty MPs can achieve in New Delhi, Stalin reminded the audience that DMK parliamentarians fearlessly confronted the BJP regime even when it commanded a brute majority. He stated that in the newly elected Parliament where the BJP is reduced to a minority dependent on coalition allies, the forty DMK alliance lawmakers will act as an uncompromising collective vanguard fighting for federal rights, state financial devolution, and democratic norms.
Stalin commended party functionaries for their disciplined grassroots campaign, urging them to channel this momentum toward the upcoming 2026 state assembly elections. He reiterated that the DMK's mission is safeguarding Tamil interests and defending India's secular constitutional fabric.
