Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin felicitated a group of twenty-five college students who completed specialized international technical training in the United Kingdom under the flagship Naan Mudhalvan scheme. Stalin described the initiative as his dream project, emphasizing that the program's primary mission is to fulfill the career ambitions of young learners from economically modest backgrounds by equipping them with industry-grade skills and global educational exposure.
Interacting with the returning cohort, Stalin listened to their experiences of studying cutting-edge technologies at reputed British institutions, noting that their newfound confidence is the cornerstone of Tamil Nadu's future development. He observed that providing fully funded foreign study trips to government college students dismantles generational barriers, proving that socioeconomic disadvantages need not limit academic excellence when the state offers institutional patronage.
Stalin affirmed that education remains the greatest wealth a society can bestow upon its children, urging students to continue learning without letting obstacles hinder their aspirations. He reiterated that the Dravidian Model governance will continually expand skill training programs, global university partnerships, and corporate placements to empower Tamil Nadu's youth on the global stage.
