Chief Minister M.K. Stalin released an informational video detailing the operational framework of the Makkaludan Muthalvar scheme, responding directly to public inquiries about the program's functions and grassroots delivery mechanisms. Stalin explained that the flagship initiative was conceived to bridge the gap between citizens and state departments, providing an accessible platform for resolving everyday civic and administrative challenges.
Under the scheme, multi-departmental camps are organized in local wards and villages, bringing officials from revenue, municipal administration, rural development, electricity, and social welfare directly to the people. Citizens submit grievances regarding welfare schemes, certificates, drinking water, and infrastructure repairs, receiving immediate acknowledgments and real-time status updates through an integrated digital monitoring platform overseen by district collectors.
Stalin highlighted that citizen-centric governance requires proactive public engagement rather than bureaucratic indifference. The decentralized camps have already resolved hundreds of thousands of long-pending grievances within designated thirty-day timelines, establishing unprecedented administrative transparency. Stalin urged residents across Tamil Nadu to actively participate in upcoming local camps, reaffirming that the Dravidian Model administration exists to protect public dignity and serve every community with compassion and efficiency.
