Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reaffirmed his government's unwavering commitment to redressing public grievances directly within citizens' neighborhoods through the Makkaludan Muthalvar outreach scheme. The flagship administrative program brings frontline government departments directly to municipal wards and village panchayats, eliminating bureaucratic barriers and enabling prompt resolution of long-pending petitions.
Stalin observed that the scheme reflects the core ethos of the Dravidian Model governance: remaining accessible, compassionate, and accountable to common people at all times. Specialized grievance camps organized across town panchayats and rural blocks allow residents to submit applications related to revenue patta transfers, drinking water connections, electricity services, welfare pensions, and disability certificates.
Under the initiative, designated departmental officers review representations and deliver certified decisions within a strict time-bound window of thirty days. The Chief Minister noted that thousands of families have obtained vital legal documentation, welfare benefits, and municipal solutions without repeatedly visiting distant government offices or paying processing fees.
Stalin commended field revenue staff, district collectors, and civic personnel for actively executing the outreach drive with empathy. He asserted that the administration will continue refining public service delivery mechanisms to ensure every resident's rightful grievance is resolved promptly.
