My heart is brimming with pride to share that, over the last three academic years, 15,066 Medical and Dental seats have been secured for OBC students due to the uncompromising legal fight carried out by the DMK.
In addition, @aifsoj has played a pivotal role in highlighting the importance of this significant achievement and has fostered many productive discussions on #OBCreservations across India.
Although we have many items on our agenda, our immediate task is to ensure that a #CasteCensus is conducted by the Union Government to identify the proportion of backward communities and secure our rightful share to establish #SocialJustice.
Let us work together to achieve this!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed immense pride in announcing that 15,066 undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental seats have been secured for Other Backward Class students over the past three academic years due to the DMK's uncompromising legal battle. The victory stems from a landmark judicial verdict mandating twenty-seven percent reservation in the All India Quota.
Stalin acknowledged the All India Federation for Social Justice for organizing productive nationwide discourses and raising public consciousness regarding OBC representation across central educational institutions. He noted that the DMK's legal intervention dismantled systemic exclusion and restored constitutional equity for aspiring medical students belonging to backward communities nationwide.
The Chief Minister stressed that while this milestone represents a monumental legal triumph, the immediate priority on the national agenda must be conducting a comprehensive, nationwide Caste Census. He argued that accurate demographic data is indispensable to determine the true proportion of backward classes and secure proportional representation.
Stalin called upon progressive political formations, civil society groups, and social justice advocates across India to unite in demanding an immediate caste survey. He affirmed that Tamil Nadu will continue spearheading the constitutional struggle to ensure equal opportunities for all.
