Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated several public infrastructure and environmental facilities across the state to strengthen administrative delivery and heritage conservation. The government opened an expanded facility at the government branch press in Tiruchirappalli, constructed at a cost of 1.82 crore rupees to modernize printing operations and administrative records management.
Stalin also dedicated an upgraded community-based eco-tourism trail connecting Yelagiri and Jalagamparai, alongside seventy-five Maragatha Pooncholai green groves across rural districts. The environmental package included a specialized fishing net collection centre and an integrated environmental monitoring centre designed to track regional ecological health and marine conservation standards continuously.
In a key social initiative, the Chief Minister distributed demand drafts totaling fifty crore rupees to undertake renovation works across 2,500 temples located in Adi Dravidar and tribal habitations. The funding ensures that grassroots shrines receive adequate conservation assistance under state supervision.
These administrative initiatives reflect the government's approach of combining rural ecological preservation with equitable infrastructure development across departments. Stalin highlighted that upgrading public utilities and protecting sacred local heritage remain central priorities for balanced regional development across all districts.
