DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin unveiled a commemorative political volume titled 'Thendisaiyin Theerpu' (The Verdict of the South), documenting the historic sweep of all forty parliamentary seats by the DMK-led INDIA alliance across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Stalin highlighted that the unprecedented landslide victory served as a resolute democratic judgment by southern voters against autocratic, centralizing politics and divisive communal rhetoric.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the book captures the extraordinary grass-roots campaign, political solidarity among coalition partners, and widespread popular endorsement of the Dravidian Model governance framework. He noted that Tamil Nadu's electors demonstrated profound political maturity by voting decisively for secularism, state autonomy, social justice, and constitutional federalism.
Stalin stated that the victory was built upon the relentless ground-level mobilization of dedicated party cadres and the tangible socio-economic benefits delivered through pioneering state welfare schemes. He declared that southern India showed the entire country the path to democratic renewal. The Chief Minister pledged that the DMK will persistently champion democratic values, safeguarding federalism and people's welfare at the national level.
