Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over a multi-sectoral governance ceremony in Chennai, signing a 400 crore rupee memorandum of understanding with consumer goods major Dabur India to establish a manufacturing plant in Tindivanam. The manufacturing project reflects growing international corporate confidence in the state's peaceful industrial climate, skilled technical labor force, and transparent business clearances.
During the event, Stalin distributed government appointment orders to 158 candidates selected through competitive examinations as Assistant Horticulture Officers under the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department. In addition, the Chief Minister inaugurated the modernized State Emergency Operations Centre at Ezhilagam, upgraded by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department into a round-the-clock multi-hazard early warning facility equipped with advanced real-time weather monitoring tools.
Stalin highlighted that synchronizing industrial expansion, agricultural recruitment, and disaster resilience demonstrates the comprehensive scope of the Dravidian Model governance framework. He affirmed that his administration works tirelessly to generate youth employment, support farming livelihoods, and protect citizens against climate vulnerabilities. The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to fostering balanced economic progress and robust civic safety across every district of Tamil Nadu.
