DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed profound appreciation for the DMK Engineers' Wing following their Kalaignar centenary conference in Chennai. Stalin praised the wing's leadership and participating youth for demonstrating immense technological enthusiasm and ideological dedication to the Dravidian movement. He shared an explanatory video highlighting the newly launched 'My Roots' mobile application, developed to connect lakhs of engineering students, working professionals, and tech innovators across Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister emphasized that integrating modern digital platforms with political movements empowers educated youths to contribute constructively to public policymaking, regional industrial development, and progressive governance. He noted that the initiative builds upon the visionary technological groundwork laid by former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, who pioneered India's first state IT policy and established Chennai as a premier software destination.
Stalin affirmed that youth participation in specialized party wings strengthens the democratic link between professional technical talent and grass-roots socio-economic development. He called upon engineers and students to utilize the platform actively, fostering innovative technological solutions that advance social justice, administrative modernization, and equitable industrial progress throughout every district of Tamil Nadu.
