Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin concluded an investment agreement in San Francisco with Ohmium, a leading green hydrogen electrolyser manufacturer, securing a capital investment of 400 crore rupees for Chengalpattu district. The clean-technology manufacturing facility will generate 500 skilled jobs, expanding the state's renewable energy ecosystem and accelerating India's transition toward zero-emission industrial manufacturing.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Tamil Nadu is proactively positioning itself as a global hub for green technology, renewable power generation, and advanced equipment fabrication. Industries Minister T.R.B. Rajaa and senior administrative delegates participated in the discussions, highlighting the state's dependable power infrastructure, skilled engineering manpower, and proactive policy incentives for green industries.

Stalin stated that sustainable industrial growth forms a central pillar of the Dravidian Model of governance. He affirmed that attracting cutting-edge clean-energy investments protects long-term ecological balance while generating modern employment opportunities for educated youth.
