DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed party cadres through an inspiring Letter to Brethren on the momentous occasion of the DMK completing seventy-five years of historic political and social service. Stalin recalled that when Perarignar Anna founded the DMK in 1949, the prevailing reality was characterized by northern hegemony and southern neglect, encapsulated in Anna's famous slogan that the North flourished while the South languished.
The Chief Minister asserted that through decades of transformative Dravidian Model governance, the DMK has fundamentally reversed that dynamic, creating an advanced socio-economic model where the South now guides the entire nation in industrial growth, higher education, healthcare, and inclusive welfare policies. He noted that Tamil Nadu's achievements have earned national respect and demonstrated the true power of regional federal governance.
Stalin extended a passionate invitation to party workers across Tamil Nadu to gather in massive numbers for the platinum jubilee Mupperum Vizha in Chennai on September 17. He described the gathering as a joint call from Anna, Kalaignar, and party leadership to celebrate past triumphs and prepare for future political victories.
