DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid rich floral tributes to DMK founder and former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai on his one hundred and sixteenth birth anniversary. Stalin emphasized that Perarignar Anna laid the ideological and institutional foundations that transformed Tamil society, enabling the state to walk with dignity and pride through seventy-five years of relentless social justice advocacy.

The Chief Minister recalled the intense, emotional bond between Anna and party patriarch M. Karunanidhi, noting that Kalaignar invoked Anna's name until his final breath and drew lifelong inspiration from his political teachings. Stalin highlighted that Anna possessed the rare genius to convert radical Dravidian social reform ideals into practical state policy, institutionalizing equal rights, linguistic self-respect, and regional pride in Tamil Nadu.

Stalin affirmed that the DMK government operates as the living embodiment of Anna's vision, serving as a dedicated administration of the Tamil people.
