#UttarakhandLandslide

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin instructed state disaster management officials and the Tamil Nadu House in New Delhi to coordinate urgent rescue and relief operations for Tamil pilgrims stranded by catastrophic landslides in Uttarakhand. Stalin personally telephoned stranded travelers, including Parasakthi, to inquire about their safety, offer moral reassurance, and guarantee that the state government is taking every possible step for their prompt rescue and safe return.
The Chief Minister directed senior administrative officers to establish close, continuous liaison with Uttarakhand state disaster authorities, district collectors, and the National Disaster Response Force to ensure immediate provision of emergency shelter, food, clean drinking water, and necessary medical care. He instructed officials to arrange dedicated transport to evacuate affected tourists safely from landslide-affected mountainous corridors without delay.
Stalin affirmed that the Tamil Nadu government considers the welfare and safety of Tamils living or traveling anywhere across India and abroad as its paramount duty. He assured anxious family members across Tamil Nadu that all stranded pilgrims are being systematically assisted and will be safely repatriated to their hometowns without delay and in complete safety.
