Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive inspection of his home constituency Kolathur in Chennai, inaugurating newly constructed public infrastructure projects built at a total cost of four point seven six crore rupees. The completed facilities included a modern school building equipped with state-of-the-art smart classrooms, a renovated public gymnasium for local youth fitness, and a newly established memorial hall for community use.
During the constituency field visit, the Chief Minister inspected the ongoing construction progress of a comprehensive community welfare center designed to host neighborhood social and cultural gatherings. He also reviewed the planned site for the integrated Kolathur Citizen Service Center, which will house a new taluk office and a sub-registrar office under a single roof, significantly streamlining administrative access for residents.
Stalin interacted directly with local residents, civic workers, and school teachers, reviewing civic amenities, stormwater drainage readiness, and sanitation services across the neighborhood. He instructed Greater Chennai Corporation authorities to adhere strictly to construction timelines and maintain top-notch engineering standards, reaffirming that continuous neighborhood enhancement, citizen convenience, and civic modernization remain top governance priorities.
