Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin officially released a commemorative digital souvenir titled Thamizhavel P.T. Rajan Ninaivugalil 50 to mark the fiftieth death anniversary of illustrious Justice Party leader and social reformer P.T. Rajan. Stalin hailed Rajan as a foundational pillar of the Dravidian movement, whose courageous advocacy in the early twentieth century helped establish social justice, non-Brahmin representation, and affirmative action in public education and employment.
The Chief Minister praised the digital publication, curated with the active involvement of state minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, for compiling rare archival photographs, legislative speeches, and scholarly essays documenting Rajan's monumental contributions to Tamil society. Stalin emphasized that documenting the history of pioneer Justice Party stalwarts educates contemporary generations about the arduous struggles required to challenge caste hegemony and dismantle institutional discrimination in Madras Presidency.
Stalin affirmed that the present Dravidian Model administration draws direct ideological sustenance and governance inspiration from the progressive policies enacted by Justice Party ministries. He congratulated the editorial team for producing a comprehensive historical tribute, urging students, historians, and political researchers to study Rajan's inspiring life of self-respect.
