Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated several newly completed welfare and operational infrastructure facilities for the Police and Fire and Rescue Services departments across Tamil Nadu. Among the major projects commissioned were modern residential housing quarters constructed for police personnel, administrative office complexes, and a state-of-the-art Regional Forensic Science Laboratory established in Thanjavur to serve delta districts.

Stalin emphasized that the state government places the highest priority on modernizing police infrastructure and ensuring dignified living conditions for law enforcement personnel and their families. He stated that the new Thanjavur forensic laboratory will decentralize scientific crime investigation capabilities, enabling district police teams to secure rapid chemical and ballistic analysis without transporting crucial forensic evidence to Chennai.

The Chief Minister reiterated that effective law enforcement and crime detection form the bedrock of economic progress and social harmony across the state. He affirmed that his administration will continue investing in cutting-edge forensic technology, modernized police stations, and staff welfare measures to maintain Tamil Nadu's reputation for exemplary public safety and institutional efficiency throughout the region.
