Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed profound satisfaction over the amicable resolution of the industrial dispute between workers and management at Samsung India's manufacturing plant in Sriperumbudur. Stalin extended his heartfelt congratulations to CITU trade union leaders, employee representatives, and corporate management for demonstrating mutual cooperation and dialogue during extensive reconciliation talks convened by the state government.
The Chief Minister commended Cabinet Ministers E.V. Velu, T.M. Anbarasan, C.V. Ganesan, and T.R.B. Rajaa for their persistent mediation efforts over multiple rounds of structured negotiations. He emphasized that the DMK administration remains fundamentally committed to safeguarding workers' rights, dignified wages, and union representation while simultaneously fostering an attractive and stable environment for global manufacturing investments.
Encouraging both workforce and factory leadership to put past differences aside and collaborate toward shared prosperity, Stalin described the settlement as a triumph for industrial peace. He concluded that sustained economic growth in Tamil Nadu relies upon harmonious labor relations, assuring that the government will continue balancing worker protection with modern industrial expansion. He commended the labor leadership and corporate management for choosing mutual dialogue over prolonged confrontation.
