Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commended School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and departmental officials for organizing international educational exposure tours for government school students and teachers. Following discussions with the minister, Stalin noted that the state government has successfully sponsored two hundred thirty-six meritorious government school pupils and ninety-two dedicated educators on fully funded study trips to six foreign countries.
Stalin expressed deep personal joy over the transformative educational program, noting that providing international travel and academic exposure to children from modest rural backgrounds dismantles traditional socioeconomic barriers. He observed that participating students had the opportunity to visit premier global scientific research centers, renowned universities, and advanced cultural institutions, broadening their intellectual perspectives and fueling ambitious career goals.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the initiative reflects the Dravidian Model administration's core philosophy of providing the highest quality educational opportunities to students studying in state-run schools. He emphasized that exposing teachers to international pedagogical standards strengthens classroom instruction across Tamil Nadu, assuring that the government will continue funding pioneering educational exposure programs statewide to broaden scientific learning and inspire academic excellence among all school students.
