Chief Minister M.K. Stalin attended a state-sponsored mass wedding ceremony organized by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, personally blessing thirty-one couples in Chennai. The collective ceremony formed part of a simultaneous statewide initiative wherein three hundred seventy-nine couples from economically disadvantaged families entered wedlock at major temple premises across all districts of Tamil Nadu.

Under the comprehensive welfare initiative, each newly wedded couple received ceremonial gold thalis, silk wedding attire, household utility articles, and essential domestic appliances provided entirely through temple trust funds. Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian Model governance embodies the universal principle of 'everything for everyone', ensuring that temple resources actively serve the social and economic welfare of all citizens without caste discrimination.

Stalin lauded HR&CE Minister P.K. Sekarbabu and department officials for carrying out extensive temple renovation works, reclaiming encroached temple lands, and conducting egalitarian social programs despite facing malicious lawsuits and disinformation campaigns from political opponents. He reaffirmed that the government will continue managing spiritual institutions with transparency, social harmony, and dedicated public service across Tamil Nadu, promoting social upliftment through ethical institutional stewardship and community development.
