Addressing party workers and local citizens, Stalin recalled that Karunanidhi was instrumental in creating Namakkal as a separate revenue district in 1997, thereby decentralizing administrative machinery and accelerating regional infrastructure growth. He noted that Karunanidhi's legislative career of over six decades produced historic welfare measures, including affirmative action policies, rural electrification, and extensive transport nationalization that transformed the agrarian economy.
