Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited Namakkal district to inaugurate one hundred thirty-four completed public development projects executed at a total cost of 298.02 crore rupees. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for one hundred forty new municipal and rural infrastructure works estimated at 365.69 crore rupees, spanning road connectivity, educational buildings, and public health facilities across the district.

In addition to launching capital works, Stalin presided over a massive public distribution ceremony where he handed over government welfare assistance valued at 146.56 crore rupees to 16,031 beneficiaries. The distributed benefits included social security pensions, agricultural equipment, community livelihood tools, and educational scholarships administered through various state departments to uplift economically disadvantaged rural households.

Stalin observed that the enthusiastic reception accorded by the people of Namakkal demonstrated public appreciation for the welfare initiatives and administrative reforms delivered by the DMK government. He emphasized that the administration prioritizes balanced regional growth, ensuring that interior districts receive substantial capital investments alongside metropolitan centers to foster equitable socioeconomic progress throughout Tamil Nadu.
