The fifteen-day athletic event saw 11,56,566 athletes competing across thirty-six diverse sporting disciplines in regional and state categories. The government disbursed thirty-seven crore rupees in cash prizes to victorious athletes, supported by more than ten thousand referees, coaches, and logistical staff members.
Stalin commended Sports Development Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin along with sports department officials for orchestrating the massive tournament seamlessly. He emphasized that the Dravidian Model administration considers sports promotion a vital public priority, designed to nurture grassroots athletic talent and establish sustainable professional career pathways for rural and urban youth alike.
Stalin encouraged young players to pursue their athletic passions with discipline, asserting that modern training infrastructure and state financial backing will ensure sustained success at national and international competitions. He reaffirmed Tamil Nadu's goal to become India's foremost sports hub through continuous investment in youth athletic programs, coaching centers, and modern district sports complexes to support aspiring athletic champions.
