Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin launched 'Mudhalvar Padaippagam', an innovative public co-working space and digital learning hub designed to meet the evolving employment and educational needs of contemporary youth. Stalin explained that the modern facility was conceived to provide flexible, well-equipped work desks with high-speed internet, ergonomic seating, and uninterrupted power for professionals working remotely for global corporations.
In addition to functioning as an advanced collaborative workspace, Mudhalvar Padaippagam incorporates a comprehensive digital learning centre stocked with reference literature, online test portals, and coaching resources for youth preparing for civil services, banking, and public service examinations. The complex also features community multipurpose halls to facilitate skill-building workshops, intellectual discussions, and professional networking events.
The Chief Minister observed that the Dravidian Model governance constantly innovates public infrastructure to reflect shifting economic realities and technological trends. He emphasized that establishing affordable, community-based co-working hubs democratizes remote working access, allowing talent from modest backgrounds to participate effectively in the global digital economy. Stalin affirmed that the government plans to establish similar integrated knowledge and work spaces across urban centers and district headquarters statewide.
