Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted the strategic establishment of iconic public knowledge institutions across the state, declaring that the Dravidian movement is fundamentally an intellectual and rationalist movement. Stalin mapped out the state's landmark library infrastructure, pointing to the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai, the Kalaignar Centenary Library in Madurai, and the newly initiated Thanthai Periyar Library and Science Centre in Coimbatore.
The Chief Minister asserted that while political adversaries often reduce public governance to short-term electoral considerations, the DMK administration builds magnificent, world-class knowledge centers that empower generations of students, scholars, and researchers. He highlighted that these modern libraries feature extensive digitized archives, competitive exam training sections, assistive technology zones for visually challenged readers, and interactive children's science laboratories.
Stalin emphasized that promoting reading culture and scientific temper remains the most effective antidote to superstitious propaganda and social regression. He reaffirmed the government's resolve to continue establishing advanced intellectual infrastructure across all major regions of Tamil Nadu, ensuring that every citizen has unrestricted access to global knowledge, scientific literature, and career-advancing educational resources statewide without any geographic or social barriers.
