V.P. Singh, a beacon of social justice, uplifted those oppressed in the name of caste and transformed history. Let us honour his legacy through excellence in education, employment, and leadership. Together, we shall prove that caste is no barrier to greatness!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid glowing tributes to former Prime Minister and champion of social justice V.P. Singh on his memorial anniversary, commemorating him as a revolutionary statesman who transformed Indian political history by implementing the Mandal Commission recommendations. Stalin stated that V.P. Singh sacrificed his prime ministerial office to secure twenty-seven percent reservation for Other Backward Classes in central government employment, establishing an indelible landmark in India's struggle for constitutional equality.
The Chief Minister called upon youth and backward communities to honor V.P. Singh's legacy by attaining outstanding excellence in higher education, scientific research, competitive examinations, and administrative leadership. Stalin affirmed that establishing mastery across diverse intellectual and managerial domains serves as the most potent tribute to the visionary leaders who broke historical monopolies on social representation and state power.
Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu remains the ideological vanguard of social justice, proving to the world that caste origin can never constitute a barrier to human greatness. He reiterated his government's resolve to carry forward V.P. Singh's vision by relentlessly advocating for equitable reservations in the private sector, judicial appointments, and higher educational institutions nationwide.
