Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted extensive on-ground inspections across flood-ravaged zones in Cheyyur, Marakkanam, Vikravandi, Villupuram, Tirukoilur, and Tindivanam following relentless downpours triggered by Cyclone Fengal. Navigating inundated roadways, waterlogged streets, and isolated rural settlements, Stalin personally visited emergency relief shelters, consoling displaced families, reviewing sanitation standards, and distributing essential relief packages comprising food packets, clean drinking water, clothing, and medicines.

The Chief Minister issued strict directives to revenue and agricultural officials to conduct comprehensive field surveys immediately to document structural damages to homes, loss of livestock, and widespread inundation of standing crops so that equitable compensation can be disbursed without delay. Stalin commended the exceptional dedication displayed by sanitation workers, electricity board personnel, highways teams, medical professionals, State Disaster Response Forces, fire and rescue units, and police personnel who worked selflessly under adverse conditions.

Stalin assured residents that the state administration will maintain an active, compassionate presence until full recovery is achieved.
