Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin officially announced a comprehensive financial assistance and rehabilitation package to support families severely impacted by Cyclone Fengal across Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Tiruvannamalai, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri districts. Formulated after extensive aerial assessments and on-ground field inspections, the specialized relief measures provide direct financial disbursements to vulnerable households whose living conditions were severely upended by unprecedented torrential rains and catastrophic localized flooding.

The relief framework includes substantial monetary compensation for submerged residential dwellings, financial grants for damaged hutments, ex-gratia payments for deceased livestock, and specialized agricultural input subsidies for farmers whose standing crops suffered total inundation.
