Thank you Hon'ble @HemantSorenJMM for taking part in the Third National Conference of @aifsoj and for your solidarity with Tamil Nadu as we recover from #CycloneFengal.
Together, we shall continue striving for equity, social justice, democracy, and constitutional rights.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conveyed profound gratitude to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren for participating in the Third National Conference of the All India Federation for Social Justice and expressing heartfelt interstate solidarity with Tamil Nadu during its recovery from the devastation caused by Cyclone Fengal. Stalin noted that mutual cooperation between progressive regional leaders strengthens the collective struggle to safeguard constitutional values, secular principles, democratic conventions, and federal autonomy.
The Chief Minister observed that the bond between regional governments rooted in social justice principles provides a vital democratic counterweight against aggressive centralizing tendencies that seek to weaken state authority. By standing together on national platforms, states can effectively champion inclusive economic policies, tribal welfare, backward class empowerment, and proportional resource distribution from the central divisible tax pool.
Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand will maintain robust fraternal cooperation in advocating for federal rights, marginalized community empowerment, and democratic decentralization. He reiterated that genuine national unity flourishes only when the cultural diversity, legislative sovereignty, and constitutional prerogatives of individual states are respected and celebrated across all institutional forums.
