Stalin declared that the historic Vaikom Satyagraha was not merely an isolated victory, but the foundational catalyst for a continuous sequence of social justice triumphs across South India. Concluding his participation in the centenary celebrations held in Vaikom, Stalin stressed that Tamil Nadu and Kerala must maintain resolute fraternal solidarity to pioneer progressive social transformation for the entire country.
Stalin conveyed his profound gratitude to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, state cabinet ministers, departmental secretaries, local body representatives, and the people of Vaikom for their exceptional cooperation in organizing the centenary memorial events. He observed that the historic collaboration between the two neighboring states during the commemorative year reflects the shared ideological commitment to eradicate caste oppression and preserve rationalist ideals championed by Thanthai Periyar.
Reflecting on the ongoing journey toward complete social equality, Stalin remarked that progressive governments bear a historical obligation to expand civil liberties and protect marginalized communities from regressive orthodoxy. He affirmed that the enduring bond between Tamil Nadu and Kerala will remain a beacon of constitutional dignity, secularism, and progressive governance throughout India.
