Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the execution of extensive development works totaling 1,368 crore rupees across Erode district, spanning multi-sector civic and economic infrastructure. The projects encompass combined drinking water supply schemes, major road expansions, bridge construction, land patta distributions, modern sports facilities, an Information Technology Park, cultural museums, and commemorative monuments honoring historical contributors.
Following project inaugurations, the Chief Minister chaired a comprehensive review meeting with the District Collector and senior administrative heads to assess ongoing public welfare delivery. Stalin issued specific directives to officials, instructing them to expedite civic grievance redressal, ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply, and fulfill local developmental demands efficiently without administrative delays. He emphasized that administrative vigilance ensures welfare benefits reach intended grassroots beneficiaries without unnecessary hindrance.
Stalin expressed gratitude to the people of Erode for their sustained support and goodwill toward the Dravidian Model government. He affirmed that his administration remains dedicated to balanced regional industrialization and modern civic infrastructure across western Tamil Nadu districts, promising continuous state funding to uplift local economies and improve the daily quality of life for all citizens.
